ENGLISH: Due to the ongoing Russian attack on Ukraine, the IMU (International Mathematical Union) has decided that the ICM in July will not take place in Saint Petersburg as planned, but will be conducted digitally and the award ceremonies will take place at a different location. The Fachgruppe Mathematik and the Hausdorff Center for Mathematics join the EMS (European Mathematical Society) and the DMV (Deutsche Mathematiker-Vereinigung) in supporting this decision and in expressing sympathy to the Ukranian people while condemning the actions of the Russian government. As of now we will suspend cooperation with research institutions in Russia until further notice.
