Graduate seminar SS 19 Graduate Seminar on Numerical Simulation
The Graduate Seminar on Numerical Simulation focuses on techniques for the efficient numerical solution of partial differential equations. We will cover efficient iterative solvers and adaptive and parallel methods. We discuss algorithmic and performance characteristics of the presented methods with regard to applications in current research.
The seminar is held on Tuesdays at 14 o’clock in room 2.041, Endenicher Allee 19b.
For each seminar talk, the presenter shall hand out a double-sided page of notes to the audience. This handout will be considered for the grade.
(2nd) Initial Meeting
We will hold a second initial meeting to discuss the seminar topics on Tuesday, April 2nd, in the seminar room.
