The seminar will be concerned with selected topics of PDE-constrained optimization and efficient numerical solution methods for PDE-constrained optimization problems. It complements the lecture course ‘Numerical Algorithms’ during the winter term 2025/2026, yet participation in the ‘Numerical Algorithms’ course is not mandatory for the seminar.
