Homogenization explains the macroscopic behavior of rapidly oscillating material distributions. In the practical lab, we will focus on linear elasticity and implement two-scale simulation methods. The implementation will be done in C++.

The practical lab accompanies the lecture course

V5E5 Advanced Topics in Numerical Analysis

with the topic of analysis and numerical analysis of homogenization. Participation in the lecture course is recommended but not mandatory.
